net profiles

I'm having trouble setting up 2 network profiles. Both static IP. Either it doesn't work to switch between them, or I don't know how to use the feature.

What is the procedure to define net profiles, and switch between them?

I thought there was something easier than system-config-network (System Settings > Network) but I can't remember right now.
