inittab

hey, i am running my server in init level 3 (i think) and i have changed the line in the inittab from 5 to 3

Code:
id:3:initdefault:
but when i log in and run a vncserver i am still able to get up a graphical? is this right? thanks...

yes even though your machine is running in run-level 3 if you are using a vnc client to log into the machine you will still get a graphical interface.
