When will the "backwards underperforming reverse chain Granstanding" boot loader be fixed to allow multiple boot chain forward system installs with out screwing things up?
Anyone have a clue?
I went to
www.grub.org and the only ones home were the worms.
SJ
Let me tell the story, but I can't tell it all,
about a bootloader malfunction that grabbed the mbr and all,
His daddy made lilo, son, he was a toad,
When the grandstanding roarded, they called boot partition Grand Unified LOAD
Sometimes into sector, sometimes into mbr,
the multi kernal kids didn't have a clue,
each time I did an install, the disk would explode,
he'd go by like there was no install instruction at all
(Chorus)
And there was burG, burG over hardware showed,
backwards was his egine, and mbr overwrite was his load,
There was loader dust, loader dust to fake the T1 burst,
The Xen they said would get him, but the testers got him first
On the fisrt of April, twenty zero-five,
A freman sent word he'd better make his burG no more,
the sent two millioin junk mails covering the state,
if they failed to fix it, it would seal thier fate
(Chorus)
And there was burG, burG over hardware showed,
backwards was his egine, and mbr overwrite was his load,
There was loader dust, loader dust to fake the T1 burst,
The Xen they said would get him, but the testers got him first
Roarin' off to Orgville, revvin' up the web,
He shot the gap at 0-land and screamed by no-don't-do-that-ville,
with G-men on his rear chain, free space up a head,
The burG boy bootloader took mbr's that even Angels fear to tred
Blazing right though Logicville, out on Putty Pike,
then right outside LVM, they made the fatal strick,
He left the disk at .95; that's all there is to say,
The testers got the mbr and the bootloader boy that day.
