the topic says it all people.. how do i share a printer and make it work across winxp from fc3? its physically connected via the linux box, and people on winxp can now see the printer... i think this is the part of smb.conf that is needed to be configured, but whenever people try and print to it, the winxp system keeps asking for drivers to be installed....
i relise it has to be set into raw mode.. which i thought i had done, any thoughts on what i am doing wrong?
smb.conf
Code:
# if you want to automatically load your printer list rather
# than setting them up individually then you'll need this
printcap name = /etc/printcap
load printers = yes
# It should not be necessary to spell out the print system type unless
# yours is non-standard. Currently supported print systems include:
# bsd, sysv, plp, lprng, aix, hpux, qnx
printing = cups
# This option tells cups that the data has already been rasterized
cups options = raw
