Add CDs to package management

Hello, I would like to install Gnome 2.10 on FC3 but don't want to compile it from source. So I think the best alternative is to install it from FC4 CDs. But how do I add new CDs to package management?
Or, how do I add this CDs to synapics, apt-get, or rug?

If you do this, you better go ahead and upgrade the entire system to FC4... The dependancies will force you to do that anyway...

Boot off the FC4 CDs to do this... I would wait until the final has been released though, and good luck...

Yes, Like you said. The dependencies would explode. I hope upgrading to FC4 final will work 'cos upgrading to Test 3 failed on my test platform.

But is it possible to add new CDs to package management after installation of FC? I ask this because I come from Mandrake and the RPMdrake package manager was always expandable by adding CDs or web sources pretty easily. I miss this tool.
