It works with 2.6.11, when you install the RPM, it compiles the module for you.

It should also be in /lib/modules/fglrx but they may have changed that.

You see it works by installing the RPM, running fglrxconfig to generate a xorg.conf file, answering the right questions, or best guess and then logout of your machine (no need to reboot) and log back in.

To check it works, you should be able to log back in and then run fgl_glxgears and you should see a fancy 3d rotating box with gears on it similar to glxgears.

On a 9500 Pro (old I know) I get about 350~ fps

Gavin.

You must use the --force switch with rpm.

I get this after installing ati drivers with the installer:
Code:
[root@localhost installid]# fglrxinfo
display: :0.0 screen: 0
OpenGL vendor string: Mesa project: www.mesa3d.org
OpenGL renderer string: Mesa GLX Indirect
OpenGL version string: 1.2 (1.5 Mesa 6.2.1)
I didn't notice that those drivers doesn't work with FC4's kernel.

I would uninstall installed drivers and do like Seehund suggested, but I don't find anywhere how to uninstall ati drivers that have been installed with the installer. Any suggestions?
