unable to start sendmail

I am unable to start sendmail. I'm getting this error

Failed to start sendmail :
Starting sendmail: [ OK ]
Starting sm-client: sendmail: fatal: flush queue mode requires no recipient
[FAILED]

Here's my log report:

Jun 15 17:20:36 tranhomes sendmail: sendmail: fatal: flush queue mode requires no recipient
Jun 15 17:20:37 tranhomes sendmail: sm-client startup failed

Any help is appreciated.

sendmail 8.12.11-4.6 running on Fedora Core 2 with cyrus-imap and cyrus-sals
