wired V. wireless conflict

-from a newb

attempting to use broadcom wireless on a gateway 4028gz with FC3-- installed ndiswrapper, latest kernel yadda yadda-- lspci shows the wired interface on the same irq as the wireless chip, i get an "error -22" when modprobe'ing the card

i have disable acpi with acpi=noirq but no luck, perhaps i need to remove the wired hardware? (wired and wireless are built in)

whats the best way to "hide" the wired hardware from FC3?

thanx
