Connecting linux system to a windows 2003 domain

Any one can tell me how I can connect my linux system to a windows 2003 domain for login authentication

i go through it and i configure some extent. i am able to view the domain users and groups in terminal when i try wbinfo -g and -u . But i am not able to login to domain from login screen.

samba is a very reobust way of integrating linux into windows environments, can be complicated. i wish i could help you more, but i do not have experience with integrating a linux machine into a windows network... my experience is integrating my windows machines into my linux/samba network.

go back to www.samba.org. there is a very helpful (though long) official how-to documented there that i have found very helpful.
