Linux on old Panasonic Toughbook ?
I have been offered an old Panasonic Toughbook CF27 laptop, and intend to install Linux on it. It's a Pentium II 300MHz CPU with 192Mb RAM. I would probably use FC4 as I already have the discs, but with a 'light' desktop instead of Gnome or KDE. I will be using it just for email/internet, and connecting it (hopefully) wirelessly.
Has anyone any experience of installing Linux on one of these? Is it do-able, or would I be wasting my time? Anything I should look out for?
It's not listed on the Tuxmobil or Linux-laptop sites.
Thanks.
