Missing Dependency: clamav-data = 0.87.1-1.fc4 is needed by package clamav-update

Hi there
I just did a yum update ( or using yumex ) the error "Missing Dependency: clamav-data = 0.87.1-1.fc4 is needed by package clamav-update" appears.

However I had clamav-data-0.87.1-1.fc4 installed.

I removed it and re-install again using yum, and had the same error during update.

Anybody since this problem ? Please help

Cheers

how did you install clamav ?

usually with yum install clamav does the trick
Quote:
[jim@notebook ~]$ rpm -qa | grep clam
clamav-update-0.87.1-1.fc4
clamav-0.87.1-1.fc4
clamav-data-0.87.1-1.fc4
clamav-lib-0.87.1-1.fc4
do you have at least all theses installed ?

It would be due to clamv.
Notice my packages are slight different

[coka@antims ~]$ rpm -qa | grep clam
clamav-data-0.87.1-1.fc4
clamav-update-0.87.1-1.fc4
clamav-db-0.87.1-3
clamav-0.87.1-3

Both my clamav-db-87.1-3 and clamav-0.87.1-3 do not have ".fc4" !

I remove both packages and installed by yum and the result was them.

Anyway, I remove clamav-0.87.1-3 and I am able to do update using yum or yumex.

I will re-installed it and with for next update.

Thx
