libc.so.6

FC4, When I,am trying to install a app it requires a dependency of libc.so.6(GLIBC.2.4) .
I have a libc.so.6 in /lib/libc.so.6 , why does it not use that file ?
What is with the (GLIBC.2.4) , please explain.

Jim

You are trying to install a package built for FC5test. FC4 has glibc version 2.3.5, FC5 will have glibc 2.4.
