When I choose to use KDE ad my desktop (like it much better than gnome) I get a message pop up that say to use the desktop switch tool to set KDE as default. Well it seems the desk top switch tool is broke in core 2 test 3, an someone instruct my on how to set it as default manually?

Actually I just posted that to the other thread regarding switchdesk, before I saw this one.
rpm -ql switchdesk

copy the .Xclients.kde file to ~/.Xclients-default.

And, if you'd like to change the default for all users on the system, in case you create new ones....

$-> cat /etc/sysconfig/desktop
DESKTOP="GNOME"

change to "KDE"
