Re: /lib/modules not being cleaned up

Incorrect, it's because /lib is a symlink to /usr/lib/.
All kernel modules reside in /usr/lib/modules/ now.

Re: /lib/modules not being cleaned up

I believe that dkms has always had an issue with cleaning up.
I've never not had an issue with it, which is why I wrote a script
to deal with it years ago. Feel free to make use of it.

Re: Double-click suddenly unpacks zip archives

This was an 'enhancement' added to either nautilus, file-roller or both, I forget exactly which.

[SOLVED] Copr Repo.

Re: Copr Repo.

FYI chrome-gnome-shell is in updates-testing for F26, so you can download it from Koji
or enable that repo instead of pulling it from copr.

Re: Missing packages for a new install.

I'm not too familiar with how the groups stuff works, but is it possible when
enabling their repo that they have something that is inserting their packages
into the group lists?

I have...

Re: Missing packages for a new install.

I think the better question is where are YOU getting your list from.
The gstreamer-ffmpeg and gstreamer-plugins-ugly packages are
rpmfusion as well. There is no way these packages are ended up
in...

Re: Transfer to new drive & computer

It's a good idea to backup /etc and some or all of /var as well.
Your repo configs are located in /etc/yum.repos.d/ so be sure to
at least backup any /etc/yum* or /etc/dnf* directories and files...

Re: Remove pre installed extensions.

They can be removed similar to any other package:
sudo dnf remove <package>
They might even show up in the software center to be uninstalled.

Re: replacing a52dec.x86_64 0.7.4-21.fc25 fails

liba52 is in the Fedora repo now, so manually uninstall a52dec-libs from rpmfusion
or wherever you obtained it.

Re: Extensions for Fedora 26

It's easier to set the dconf key: org.gnome.shell.disable-extension-version-validation = true
A lot of extensions are already updated to v3.24 though, including TaskBar.
I switched my install over...

Re: Font rendering

I had this problem too. Not in front of my machine at the moment, but I had to change to to "xos Terminus" or something. Just search on the font selector and it'll show up.

Try installing the gstreamer1-libav package from either rpmfusion or negativo17.

Re: Lots of fc24 packages left after dnf system-upgrade

It's normal to have those. As I recall, they didn't do a mass re-build between F24<->F25
so lots of things were never updated. There is a mass re-build between F25<->F26 though,
so there will be...

Maybe something with the rsyslog config isn't grabbing it properly?

scenarios look at this link: https://access.redhat.com/articles/1374633.

So any updates to the python2 packages will override your alternatives symlinks
and you will need to reconfigure...

Manually adding an "exit" line to the end of scripts may not be harmful, but it is not good either.
It is superfluous unless you require the script to end with a non-default status code.
You should...
