reduce touchpad time after timing

I like to have my mousepad disabled while typing, however the timeout seems a little long after typing. Anyone know if that timeout length is configurable?

maybe a softlink is needed somewhere. Can you post the output of

updatedb
locate *flash*so

EDIT: the updatedb part must be done as root.

It is nice to hear that gnome 2 may be maintained for a while. I hate gnome 3. For the time being I have switched to openbox. That is not without it's pains either tho.

Openbox under LXDE is very leightweight and functional. It's quite sweet with xcompmgr and awn.
