Exclamation fedora won't sleep & have USB Copy issue!

hi all
i'm using fedora 14 x86 , well recently my fedora wont sleeps and shutdown properly! i notice that i cant copy file to usb device so copied files are corrupted ! i checked 3-4 usb device so i'm sure it is fedora having issue!
the only thing that makes me suspicious is that i had a external HDD with power supply problem i attacked it and coppied some files from it with lot's of problems!
well is there any command or config file that should be removed or fixed? thanks for any help

I'm afraid you'll have to upgrade to F16 now. F14's reached end-of-life so bugs can't be fixed.

i'm waiting for fedora 17 cause i have internet speed problem cant download both 16 and 17! but thanks for the answer!
by the way i'm using "sudo pm-suspend" and it's working now just have copy issue which upgrading to 17 will fix that
