3D Desktop compatible motherboards

Hi all,

I want to enable compiz-fusion on my Fedora 8 desktop. Currently I am using XFX GeForce motherboard equipped with NVIDIA 730i graphics chipset.

Is it possible to run 3D desktop with this motherboard? or I have to purchase a new graphics card which support 3D Desktop. If so, then please provide me with the make & model no of the cards.

Thanks in advance.........

You can, but if it uses integrated graphics I imagine it will be very slow. If you're not much of a gamer, I would recommend a low-end card such as the 8400GS for which you can get for around $50.
