wired connection configuration bug in NetworkManager Applet 0.7.0

So I have my wireless connections working fine on NetworkManager Applet 0.7.0, but when I try to configure wired connections by adding and setting them manually, the Gateway IP in the settings disappears after pressing ok. It seems to work fine with auto configuration (DHCP).

When I configured the connection using system-config-network 1.5.10, I had to disable NetworkManager and restart the network service and the connection worked ok.

I think the disappearing of the Gateway IP when setting up wired connections manually in NetworkManager is a bug. Has anyone else had this problem?

It would be nice to use one app for all network configurations its more conviniate for users travilling and using different network environments.

I faced a problem with NetworkManager applet. It shows disconnected sometimes and firefox goes offline. But i could ping google.com at that time. I think there is some incompatibilty issue with system-configs-network & nm-applet

the Gateway setting goes back from correct, classic 192.168.1.1 to 0.0.0.0 after nm-applet trying to connect with a fixed IP; this is with a w3945 wireless card, which is otherwise working fine with DHCP - just can't speed up and formalize my network here with a fixed IP for this laptop.

You could call it a bug, it's written "connection established" but the icon says otherwise and you can't get "connection information". And can't ping either.

there seems to be a conflict between (system-config-network 1.5.10) and (NetworkManager Applet 0.7.0) you must have only one running at a time, or else you will face problems.
