Post Help to install and use gcc compiler

Hi guys,

I am using the fedora9 on USB as my OS.I need to program in C but gcc is not per-installed for me.Could you please help me in doing this?More specifically,what are the tar s i need to install from the list of tar s available in the download mirrors?
