F11 install problem after root password

Hello. I'm trying to do a fresh F11 install on a Athlon 64 dual core 4 gigs ram, nvidia gforce 9400.

I set the root password, when press next nothing happens. I press Ctrl+alt+ backspace and i see:

Fatal IO error 11 (Resource temporarily unavailable) on X server: 1.0
Then system halts and says its safe to reboot.

Any suggestion?

Thanks in advance.
