VirtualBox Network Bridge (Windows XP Host)

    Hello All,

I'm wondering if anyone can direct me (or tell me) a good way to build a bridge with Fedora and XP (hosted on a VirtualBox). Basically, I am trying to do the opposite of what most of the write-ups are gear towards. Let's assume I don't have an internet connection on Fedora via. eth0 or wlan0, but I do have an internet connection in my VirtualBox. How can I build the bridge so that Fedora will access the internet connection in VB?

    TIA,

Anyone have any suggestions? Should I add more info?

I'm basically wanting the Guest OS (Virtual Machine) to host the internet connection.

    dunno
maybe try using two virtual adapters in the VBox one for the bridge to the hardware and one for the local traffic?

Any other suggestions? Surely someone out of here or the VirtualBox forums knows the answer!

I'll toss one out there for you but I don't think it will work

use your router to block the mac address for your hardware nic but allow the mac for your VBox virtual nic. I am assuming you are running static addresses? Then you st your network on your fedora install to look at your VBox gateway?

Like I said, i don't think it will work.

    Good Luck,
