ntfs error message

Hello everyone:

installed the ntfs configuration tool to see the ntfs windows partitions.
when I try to open it, I get:

"ntfs-config need to be run as root, but i can not find a graphical authentication program ...? You should install gksu or kdesu ...".

what can I do to get it functional ?
Thanks in advance.

Re: ntfs error message

There seems to be a slight inconsistency in the .desktop file. Run
su -c "sed -i '/^Exec=\/usr\/sbin\/ntfs-config-root/ s/sbin/bin/' /usr/share/applications/ntfs-config.desktop"
to fix it. Could you please also submit a bug, referencing this thread?
