Panic occured switching back to text console

Anyone having this issue with f16 currently. having this problem with an older model desktop, hp-compaq dc5100 pentium 4 processor with ht technology 2 gb ram 40gb hdd, intel gma 900. System info refers to an intel 915g x86/mmx/sse2.

Tried installing f16 but it keeps having this 'Panic" situation even during updates. Curenlty running linux mint 12 without any issues, but I am a fedora kinda guy, any help will be appreciated.

HP Pavillion 15-bc220nr
12 GB Ram 1TB HDD.
7th Gen. Intel i5 2.5 Ghz Quad Core.
Nvidia Gtx 1050 Graphics 4 GB Memory.
