    How to get drivers working?

I have been having major problems with getting the AMD drivers to work, mainly that it wont install them right. If i install them (Both the kmod and the official) they wont let me boot gnome. Also, the official gives me errors about not generating the module. Could that have anything to do with it?
I am a i7 and a intell HD 3000/6770m hybrid graphics combo and i use a script to turn off the 6770m because it overheats (Another thing i want to get the drivers installed for)
I am on fedora 32bit with a PAE kernel.
    Thank you.

Re: How to get drivers working?

Assuming you refer to the proprietary ones, amd drivers are problematic - especially on fedora, where they are just plain not recommended iirc. They often lag behind xorg and kernel versions in terms of compatibility. I find fedora (16 - KDE) perfectly usable with the free driver. In fact, fedora is one of the best distros for quality of free drivers - for both nvidia and amd.
