VNC and F16

Hello All,

Have decided to take the plunge and go with Linux and chose Fedora 16.

Have dual booted Fedora 16 with Windows 7.

Have installed TigerVNC client on Fedora and can access it by my laptop throught TightVNC.

Connects fine and can access desktop and applications but the keyboard characters are wrong and are always in CAPITALS.???

For example. when I press the .(Full Stop) character on my laptop, the > (greater than) symbol appears on Fedora remote desktop.

Is there some configuration file I need to change??
