32 bit Java Firefox plugin in 64 bit Fedora

I'm having an issue with getting Java working in Firefox, something I always seem to have trouble with, no matter how many times I install or reinstall Fedora. I had 64 bit Firefox, but switched to 32 bit because I was having issues with the flash player rarely working. I installed the 32 bit flash player, nsplugin wrapper, jdk, and jre, and it still doesn't show up in aboutlugins. Any suggestions?
