Problem with Real Player, help needed
Hi guys,
I just downloaded RealPlayer10Gold from the real website and installed it (removing helix player and getting that libstd++ thing). The installation was successful. However, whenever I play any real media files, it has sound but no video.
I thought it's some sort of codec conflict. So I removed MPlayer, but it didn't help.
Now I don't know what to do - all the real player help online was about how to get that libstd library and how to remove Helix player. Nothing talked about playback with sound but no video.
Any ideas?
Thanks

Probably a driver is not installed for your graphics/video card.

Hi, I had the same problem. But I solve it by following the instruction as stated in http://forum.fedoraforum.org/forum/s...ad.php?t=66854, and run the command as below
yum -y install compat-libstdc++-33
before I reinstall RealPlayer10Golden.rpm by runing
rpm -ivh *.rpm
Remember, the .rpm file must be in your home direction.
Good luck!

Try un-checking the XVideo checkbox in Preferences->Hardware->Driver Options.
