Steam Xcom 2 stopped working recently

I've been playing xcom 2 since fedora 25 and through fedora 26 till about 1 week ago. Any know why the game won't launch anymore.

moved to Gamer's Lounge.

Just a thought, but why not launch it from your terminal and check to see what errors come up.

Ok I googled my ass of on how to do this and laiuchin steam gets

Launching Xcom 2 gets

Other gamer like tome raider launch from console.The output from launching steam was too long to paste so I have to remove it. 11000 character limit or something.

Im not a linux expert.
The part of the output you've provided just shows us it's trying to launch/exec the command, are there any lines that look like errors? Perhaps you could attach the full log instead of copy/pasting?

Nothing stands out as not working.

I spent the last 3 days redownloading 28G of game. still does not launch and I dont see any errors.
