Logitech QuickCam Pro 5000

Hello People

Here I'm again with some questions, I bought a web camera, Logitech QuickCam Pro 5000, and I want to install it on Fedora Core 4, but I didn't find any UVC driver, can you tell me which is the best UVC driver and the installation process?

Regards and always thanks for your answers.

Regards From Japan

Hello, I'm a bit of a newbie and have no idea where to build the kernel module so that I can get the module installed and tested against my camera (Quickcam Pro 5000)

Can anyone point me to better directions than i find on the link above?

Actually, for the record, I was able to get the device working. I compiled the source and while lacking the higher functionality QC drivers provide, it did work with V4L2 programs (such as Ekiga.net).

I did have a problem with sound (the camera would steal sound from all other devices upon reboot) but this could be solved by unplugging the camera (I was going to try enabling sound mixing as well, but haven't tested the results yet).
