Wrong video output of projector from my laptop
My laptop is the old Dell 4100 with nVidia Geforge 2 Go video card. I dual boot Windows XP and FC5. I attach a projector to the CRT port of the laptop in order to give an presentation. While the output of the laptop LCD screen is normal, the output of the projector is a screen with random colors. What's the cause of the problem? How can I configure so that the projector output is a clone of the main LCD output. Thanks in advance.

If I am not mistaken, your projector doesnt support the video output frequency . Try changing the frequency. I think you can change the frequency in display settings.

Its because is set to output the video at the right frequency. Change the frequency in Linux as well and it should work.
