    Question How to read file *.chm

    Hi all!
    I have some document with extention .chm and i don't know read it. I try install xchm (rpm -Uvh xchm-1.9-3.FC5.i386.rpm) and get some error:
    error:

    I tried download and install those packages(wxGTK 2.63 and chmlib 0.38) with commands: ./configure , make, make install but i can't install xchm
    Please help!

    `yum install xchm` or `yum install gnochm` if you prefer Gnome integration.

    is there another way to read .chm without using yum? Because I download it from Internet cafe and i don't have the ADSL at home

    Yum just installs the software required to read the file.
    So once the software is installed you can just open the file up.

    I wouldn't think so, chm files are microsoft and I don't think fedora included them in the distro. Just have to wait for that caffe again.But the files aren't super bug and i'm sure that a modem will suffice.

    is there another way to read .chm without using yum?
    a quick solution... use firefox add-ons, no yum needed
