while accessing X-window terminal problem

Hi All ,

I am Remesh , now i am working as a linux support in a company . Yesterday Iinstalled one computer , Fedora core 4 . I faced one problem . When i am starting X-window i cant able to access Terminals , (tty1 to tty6) .The default runlevel is init 5 . when i changed to init 3 it is working fine . from there if i start to startx again i cant access terminals . Pls help me .

HOW are you trying to access the tty1..6 ?
From X11 it requires <ctrl+alt+f1>...<ctrl+alt+f6>
From a tty it only requires <alt+f1>...<alt+f6>

Hi Stevea,

Thanks for reply . I cant able to access <ctrl+alt+f1>...<ctrl+alt+f6> from X11 .
If my machine is booting to init 3 I can access all terminals (<ctrl+alt+f1>...<ctrl+alt+f6> ) , from there if I am start to startx same problem agian happend . Please help me .
