New Batch: Found xx messages waiting


My mailserver show this line when a mail is send, first the message was:

New Batch: Found 3 messages waiting
... then the number of messages waiting increase and now is 10, when it 13 messages waiting sendmail stop to receiving conection and reject anything ..... on having done mailq in the console does not show any mail ..... in the senmail.mc one can modifing the line define(`confMAX_DAEMON_CHILDREN', 12)dnl but I don't now how decease the number of messages waiting .... anybody can helpme?

pd: sorry my english, i'm chilean.

somebody??? .... this problem afect spamassassin to, when a big cant. of spam entre to the server the daemon spamd can't check all and when the number of messages waiting is 15 let pass all the spam ... please help.
