Opening .cab files

I wanted to download some MS Excel templates from their site, but since I am no longer on windows, I have to download in .cab format. I installed cabextract, but I am still unable to open these files. Does anyone have any ideas as to how I may be able to extract the contents of those cab files?

You will never know what you are until what you believe has been tested.

You may have to install unshield to extract the cab files that you have.
It is available via yum from fedora extras
PHP Code:
 yum info unshield
To install a Pocket PC application remotely
an installable
Microsoft Cabinet File is copied to the
directory on the PDA
and then the wceload.exe is executed to
perform the actual install
That is a very simple procedure.

Unfortunatelymany applications for Pocket PC are distributed as
InstallShield installers for Microsoft Windows, and not as
individual Microsoft Cabinet FilesThat is very impractical for
users of other operating systemssuch as Linux or FreeBSD
