Question update can't find any mirrors?

I have 1 update that is for the gnome compiz manager that when I try to install it goes into the download screen and then hangs up for a minute or so then reports an error stating it can't find any mirrors. I ran the yum update to watch it and it goes through alot of checks on mirrors but can not connect to complete the update. Any thoughts?

Not a fix to your problem but I have also been having a lot of problems with mirrors not found errors. Seems to eventually find a mirror but last night it was bad. Took 10 minutes to start yumex. I am trying hard to get used to yum vs apt and times like that are very frustrating. But most of the time, I can live with it.

My thought, the mirror may be down temporarily.

Makes sense I just wasn't sure if I was missing something. I'm glad to see I wasn't the only one having trouble. I'll try again later today to see what happens Thanks perpetual
