Angry exec of anaconda failed: accessing a corrupted shared library

i gave up on checks to verify bad DVDs, bad images, etc after several downloads and fresh burns using several different brands of DVD media and went out to buy Linux Pro Magazine with the Fedora 8 install DVD...but i am getting the same error message with that!

exec of anaconda failed: Accessing a corrupted shared library
install exited abnormally [1/1]

how can i get F8 to install if it's claiming there is a problem with EVERY copy i seem to get my hands on?!

well, just in case anyone else runs into this issue...i am writing this from my new FC8 install, the way i had to fix this warning / install halt is by changing the IDE cable connected to my DVD drive...strange because it worked with the first KDE live CD i burnt & continued to work with Knoppix time after time...

but, i am happy to say, i am using the Fedora once again and will finally be retiring my old FC3 machine.
