Ethernet Help

Hi need a bit of help here

I have just installed fedora 9 to dual boot with vista

Having a problem with the ethernet though

It says there is no connection in fedora i have tryed setting up a connection and typing the mac adress my computer uses in and then setting it to auto ip but nothing happens the status lights on my laptop that usually come on at the ethernet port don't come on

But when i boot into vista my ethernet works fine

Are you sure the drivers are loaded. Fedora doesn't necessarily support all NIC cards from a clean install.

Also, have you enabled the Network Manager or network service?
