Lightbulb FireFox - Google Suggest Calculator/Converter

I ran across this behavior in FireFox today. Google suggest pops up when you start typing a search query in the upper right corner of the browser.

Type in a math string and the answer will pop up in the suggest box with an '=' sign in front of it at the top of the list.
This will also work with some of the converters, i.e. 1 km in miles, 37C in F, 1 hectare in acres, etc, etc... [37C in F] --> '= 98.6 degrees fahrenheit'

This functionality may also appear in other browsers with the google suggest feature.

I thought this was pretty cool, I hope you enjoy it too.
[food for thought]

I didn't know it would do that. That's cool. Playing with that, I found it's important to get the syntax correct for it to work though. Thanks for the tip.

That is neat. Opera doesn't have it yet, not even in 10 alpha. (Though they finally have spell check.)

I use this all the time, through "suggest" and also through normal google searches. I have found it particularly useful for converting complex things like bitrates into bandwidth (for streaming):

140 kbps * 5 minutes = 5.12695312 megabytes

I knew about it on the Google site, but not in the Firefox search box, that is seriously cool, thanks for sharing!

The amount of times I've had firefox open and been loading calculator apps separately!

@BlueC, that's even cooler! I didn't know that either!

Apparently it'll take me an hour and a half to get F10
