Question Firefox Modal and Preference windows shrunk down and empty

Hi guys,

Been a while since I posted here but I just got myself a shiny new Acer Aspire One and decided to dump Linpus in favour of F10. So far I have NOT been dissapointed and I feel I may have just opened up this little netbook as a real computer.

The only problem I face now is that Firefox seems to have some crazy little bug. Not sure if it was something I did or whether other s have had the same issue but, whenever I try to open a site or view any part of the preferences etc. a little modal window comes up shrunk down as small as it can be that stops me. If I grab this window and enlarge it, it's completely empty and when I close it nothing happens and it doens't go on to the site.

As you can all appreciate, having a netbook without access to the net kinda defeats the purpose and I love Firefox so much that I don't want to use another browser.

Perhaps someone can shed some light on this issue?

Thanks in advance guys,
