Surpress Core Dumps?

On my DV7 3085dx ( i7 based ) laptop each Suspend/Resume for recent kernels typically
generates at least 10 kernel dumps.

I have the abrtd service turned off but the arbt database keeps growning.

Is there any way to suppress these dumps without completely removing the abrt

The laptop seems to work fine otherwise for the 2.6.31 kernels.

With the 2.6.32 kernels wireless quits but the Network Manager seem to think
that wireless is still working.
