F15 parallel port printer?

Folks, I just replaced F14 with F15 (clean install). Now, when I try to add my HP Deskjet 710 printer I'm not seeing any option to select the parallel port. I've tested the hardware with an old F10 live CD, and every thing's okay there. Does the parallel port still exist in F15, or has it been nuked?... thanks

Re: F15 parallel port printer?

sorry I dunno,

all I can suggest is having the printer plugged in and turned on before you boot the box.

You may want to take a look at the thread in General Support by justinl, entitled "Printing in Fedora15". I was able to print from HPLaserJet 5MP via a parallel port.

Good luck!
