F15, ALC275, microphone, pulseaudio
I own a Sony VAIO VPCS13V9E, which is equipped with an ALC275 audio card. I premise that I read many threads connected with ALC275, alsa version, etc. In fact, as first step, I upgraded the alsa drivers with the latest version (1.0.24). Then, I powerer-off and restarted the laptop. According to dmesg:
[ 14.757698] hda_codec: ALC275: BIOS auto-probing.
[ 14.758707] input: HDA Digital PCBeep as /devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:1b.0/input/input10
[ 14.760229] input: HDA Intel Mic as /devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:1b.0/sound/card0/input11
[ 14.760294] input: HDA Intel Headphone as /devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:1b.0/sound/card0/input12
Therefore, the kernel correctly recognised my audio card. Then, I un-muted the microphones. I also used hda-analyzer to watch the card status, and input 11 and 12 are un-muted, at the highest levels.
By using audacity, if I bypass pulseaudio (by selecting the analog ACL275 hw:0.0), I can record my voice. If I select either pulse or default, I cannot record any audio. In fact, by using pavucontrol, I cannot seen any input device.
Therefore, how can I configure pulseaudio to use my analog ACL275 hw:0.0 for recording?
Thank you very much in advance for any help,
