KDE Virtual Desktop Problem

I'm using Fedora 16 with the newest version of KDE. I'm not sure when it started but for a while now I cannot click my desktop! I'm using 6 virtual desktops. If I click on any desktop at all (blank space or widgets or shortcuts) then KDE switches to the first virtual desktop. So the desktop is unusable and serves only as a quick switch to the first desktop. Any idea why this would happen and how I can fix it?
