Unable to start sendmail service in Fedora 16

I am unable to start sendmail.service in Fedora 16. Please find the output below,

    Status:

    Code:
    [root@karthick-it ~]# systemctl status sendmail.service
sendmail.service - Sendmail Mail Transport Agent
              Loaded: loaded (/lib/systemd/system/sendmail.service; enabled)
              Active: failed since Sat, 26 May 2012 17:11:41 +0530; 11min ago
             Process: 9365 ExecStart=/usr/sbin/sendmail -bd $SENDMAIL_OPTS $SENDMAIL_OPTARG (code=exited, status=0/SUCCESS)
             Process: 9360 ExecStartPre=/etc/mail/make aliases (code=exited, status=0/SUCCESS)
             Process: 9357 ExecStartPre=/etc/mail/make (code=exited, status=0/SUCCESS)
              CGroup: name=systemd:/system/sendmail.service
    Code:
    [root@karthick-it ~]# systemctl start sendmail.service
Job failed. See system logs and 'systemctl status' for details.
Could anyone help me to start the service pls ?

I can't tell from your output whether you are trying to start sendmail when you have established a connection to the internet (or some local network) or whether you wish to start it when not connected to a network. (It should be possible to start it in either case, but it woud help to diagnose the problem to know which situation applies.)

To see the logs, do a "less" on the various log files in /var/log. The /var/log/messages file is one of the important ones.

    Code:
    less /var/log/messages
or open it with your favorite text editor.

It will be helpful to duplicate the problem and note the time on the the computer's clock (down to the nearest second if possible) when it happens since the log messages have a time stamp.
