Cleanly Install fedora17 but no booting

Cleanly Install fedora17 but my lenovo laptop does not boot from installed grub

first i tried with dual booting for win7 first & fedora17 second but i could not install due gpt error
so tried fedora17 only with no win7 still i am facing above problem

I have no experience with that as I suppose it's some gpt related issue but if you have some error messages or a better description of what happens that might help.

From a livemedia, whats the output of:
fdisk -l /dev/sda
If fdisk cant report due to gpt error, you might require to install gdisk, and then run "gdisk -l"
Note: sda refers to the disk linux is installed, might vary on other hardware.. eg: hda.

You could try installing with the "nogpt" parameter.

When the Fedora Installer screen first opens press the TAB key on your keyboard and a line of text appears across the bottom of your screen.

simply add a space and nogpt to the end of the line and hit the ENTER key.
