Unhappy Dell Latitude D600 + docking station

Hi all,

i just got my laptop pre-installed with win xp and with a docking station.

I then went on to install fc3 + all updates.

I noticed a couple of serious problems.
  1. Undocked problems
  2. sometimes at boot i'll have a kernel crash and then i need to reboot
  3. Docked problems:
  4. Booting freezes at HAL (0.4.7). Disabling HAL allows booting and I can even start it manually later
  5. Again, I'll have the same problem as in undocked case where my kernel crashes it seems at the ethernet initialization
