Shuttle for web server with minimal physical space

Hi all,
I find this forum very very helpful.
I'd like to build FC4 Web server with a Shuttle box, actually one of these here: http://global.shuttle.com/Product/Ba...rb_default.asp
The reason I'd like to use small form factor box is that this will be used at home to host a personal web server via Cable/DMZ-of-Wireless-Router. So it's important that it should be quiet and small in size. I've narrowed down my choices to one of these 3.

1) My personal favorite is SB86i because it seems like it's a quiet unit.

2) I'm also considering SK21G because it's of AMD line.

3) This is also an option.
with Chipset: SiS661FX.

One thing I'd like to find out is whether the box will boot up without complaining about missing keyboard/mouse. As far as I know Intel boxes won't continue beyond error message when it doesn't find keyboard/mouse. As I plan to admin it via ssh I don't want to connect monitor/keyboard/mouse to the box. I hope to have this Shuttle in a corner of the room with just the Power Cord. Net connection will be via usb Wifi or something like that. Does anyone know if that's possible with one of these shuttle boxes?

Thx much.

I'd take the quiet one. Intel is widely supported, plus FC4 is optimized for intel arch.
ad for minimal space, just install "minimal" installation from the FC4 cd's, and then boot up. Type yum install httpd httpd-devel php php-devel mysql mysql-bench mysql-server
That will install a LAMP for you.

I use a shuttle for a server and it boots every time even though I don't have a mouse, keyboard, or monitor connected. It just sits under the desk with just power and network cables attached.

Firewing1, I meant to say physical space by the Shuttle, not amt of data that will be on it. Sorry for the confusion.

Would you be able to tell me the model of your shuttle? Thx much!

I am using an old Shuttle box, SN41G2, as an XP Media Center box. It's got no conventional keyboard or mouse attached to it, but it boots up just fine. (The MCE keyboard I have works via MCE's remote control module, which won't kick in until after the computer boots.)

I can try booting my main workstation running FC4 with no mouse/keyboard too. It is an SN85G4.

I'm using a FB51 as a server. I expect that any shuttle would boot just fine with no keyboard, mouse, or monitor attached.
